BHS Historical Preservation Project

CALLING ALL BHS ALUMNI & SUPPORTERS!

Remember when you played basketball in the 1900s or went to a pep rally in the 1980s and took a picture with a CAMERA? We need your favorite pictures and memories of Boulder High for inclusion in the BHS Historical Project.

Here is how you can help. The next phase of the project is to create a gallery of BHS faces throughout the years placed around the lobby. We want to represent the diversity of students and staff that have blessed the halls of BHS or State Prep.

We are looking for:

  • Photos including 1 person to small group (3-4 people)

  • Photos of significant events that happened at BHS

  • Photos must be of high quality/resolution. You can upload a high resolution scan using this link. Photos should be a minimum of 300dpi or 2MB.

If you need help scanning, hard copies of photos or negatives can be mailed to: Melissa Warfield, Boulder High School,1604 Arapahoe Ave. Boulder, CO 80301. Please include a return to address.

Deadline: April 30, 2021. Please help spread the word of this project so that we can gather a variety of photos for not just this phase but future phases.

If you have any questions please contact Melissa Warfield, melissa.warfield@bvsd.org or 720-561-5301.

We’ve made amazing progress despite the COVID shutdown but we need your help to keep the progress moving forward. Follow our project or make a tax deductible donation today!

Thank you for your support….Once A Panther, Always A Panther

A plan is underway to develop an historical exhibition of the first hundred years of Boulder High School; as State Preparatory School 1875-1935, and as Boulder High School 1935-1976. Boulder HS PAC has generously donated $10,000 to get this project started. View the BHS Historic Preservation Project Website for all the details & project updates.
